Jastrzębia Góra is one of the most popular seaside resorts. It is famous for high and cliffy coast providing amazing views. It is also regarded as the northernmost part of the Polish. When the Polish seaside town is associated mainly with fishing ports - Jastrzębia Góra disappoints us. It is mainly a holiday place built up with big hotels, restaurants, night clubs and littoral promenade. The closeness of the Hel Peninsula (ok.5km) makes it be a great base for many water sports (mostly related to wind-and kitesurfing). According to widely known opinion, the basin of Puck Bay is one of the best places for water sports in Europe. Fishing port located in Wladyslawowo also lets you organize fishing trips, which are extremely popular (remember to book a place several weeks in advance). Those, looking for recreation combined with a sightseeing can go to Trójmiasto-40km away or on moving dunes in Łeba (40km). Surely you should also devote at least one day to visit the castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork (120km).
The first mention of the village come from the first half of the nineteenth. In the interwar era it was already one of the most trendy places at the Polish coast. Jozef Pilsudski, Edward Rydz-Smigly and Moscicki reposed here as well.
